The Gigabyte Z790 D AX is an ATX motherboard for LGA 1700 Intel processors, built on the Intel Z790 chipset. It has four DDR5 DIMM slots supporting speeds up to 7600 MHz (O.C.), three M.2 slots, a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, and Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 with Bluetooth 5.3 alongside Realtek 2.5GbE LAN.

This board suits a mainstream Intel gaming or general-purpose build where you want current wireless, fast networking and plenty of storage options. The rear I/O includes HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.2, a USB-C port and one 10 Gbit/s USB-A port, and the board offers RGB Fusion headers plus five 4-pin PWM fan connectors.
