The MSI B850M Gaming Plus WiFi 6E is a micro-ATX motherboard for Socket AM5, built on the AMD B850 chipset. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors and offers four DDR5 slots for up to 256 GB, with memory speeds up to 8200 MHz (O.C.). A PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, a second PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot, Wi-Fi 6E and a 2.5G LAN port round out the specification.

This board suits compact to mid-sized AM5 gaming builds that need current-generation storage and connectivity without moving up to a full ATX board. It provides one PCIe x16 slot for the graphics card, four SATA ports, and a rear panel with HDMI, DisplayPort, one USB-C and seven USB-A ports. The box includes a Wi-Fi antenna, SATA cable and EZ M.2 Clip Remover. A BIOS update may be required for the newest processors.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock. On the next day I had a positive from them and in about a week the card was installed on my pc ! On top of that they work with Humm so I could split the payments.
