Product Overview

The GigaByte B850M DS3H motherboard is a micro-ATX board built on the AMD B850 chipset for Socket AM5. It takes Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors, has four DDR5 slots for up to 256 GB and supports memory speeds up to 8200 MT/s (OC). Storage is covered by two M.2 slots, the first running at PCIe 5.0 and the second at PCIe 4.0, plus four SATA ports.

This board suits compact AM5 gaming and everyday PC builds that still want a PCIe 5.0 graphics slot and fast NVMe storage. Connectivity includes 2.5 Gigabit LAN, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, HDMI and two DisplayPort outputs for CPUs with integrated graphics. There are four PWM fan headers and three addressable RGB headers. A BIOS update may be needed to support the newest processors. Wi-Fi is not included.
