Product Overview

The GigaByte B850M D3HP is a micro ATX motherboard for Socket AM5, built on the AMD B850 chipset. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors and has four DDR5 slots with a maximum of 256 GB. Memory support runs up to DDR5-8200 (OC). Storage comes from two M.2 slots, one at PCIe 5.0 and one at PCIe 4.0, plus four SATA ports.

This board suits a compact AM5 gaming or general-purpose PC where a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot and a full set of USB ports matter more than Wi-Fi, which is not included. Rear I/O offers a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, three USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, HDMI and DisplayPort for CPUs with integrated graphics, and Gigabit LAN. A BIOS update may be needed to support the newest processors. It also has addressable RGB headers using RGB Fusion.
