The Asus TUF Gaming X870-Plus WiFi is an ATX motherboard built on the AMD X870 chipset for Socket AM5 processors. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series CPUs, including X3D models, and offers four DDR5 slots with memory speeds up to DDR5-8000 (OC). Storage is a strong point, with four M.2 slots, two of them PCIe 5.0, plus two SATA ports.

This board suits gaming builds on AM5 that need fast storage and modern connectivity. It includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, 2.5 Gb Ethernet, two USB4 ports and an internal USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2 header. Eight 4-pin PWM fan headers and three addressable RGB headers with AURA Sync help with cooling and lighting. A BIOS update may be required for the newest processors.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. The computer came very well packed however, the cooler fan was loose inside the case. I managed to fix watching some youtube videos, not a big deal. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock. On the next day I had a positive from them and in about a week the card was installed on my pc ! On top of that they work with Humm so I could split the payments.
