Product Overview
The Asus PRIME X870-P is an ATX motherboard for Socket AM5 built on the AMD X870 chipset, supporting Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors. It offers four DDR5 slots with memory speeds up to DDR5-8000 (OC), four M.2 slots including one PCIe 5.0 slot, and two USB4 ports with DisplayPort 1.4 video output. Power delivery is rated at 14(80A) + 2(80A) + 1(80A) stages.
With a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and 8 four-pin PWM fan headers, the board suits a gaming or general-purpose AM5 build with several NVMe drives. Onboard video outputs only work with a CPU that has integrated graphics, and a BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors. Wi-Fi is not included. Two SATA cables and M.2 mounting accessories are supplied.
