Product Overview

The ASRock B850M Steel Legend WiFi is a Micro-ATX motherboard for AMD Socket AM5 processors, built on the AMD B850 chipset. It supports four DDR5 slots with up to 256 GB of memory and speeds of DDR5-8000+ (OC), and combines a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot with three M.2 sockets. Connectivity is a strong point, with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and 2.5 Gigabit LAN all onboard.

This board suits compact to mid-size AM5 builds using Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors, including X3D models. The rear panel offers HDMI and DisplayPort outputs (usable with a CPU that has integrated graphics), a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port and a total of nine USB-A ports. Five 4-pin PWM fan headers and four RGB headers cover cooling and lighting. A BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors.
