The ASRock B850M Riptide WiFi is an AM5 Micro-ATX motherboard built on the AMD B850 chipset. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors, including X3D models, and offers four DDR5 slots for up to 256 GB of memory at speeds of up to DDR5-8000+ (OC). Wireless is covered by Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, while wired networking comes from a 2.5 Gigabit Realtek Dragon RTL8125BG LAN port.

With a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for the graphics card, a PCIe 4.0 x4 slot and three M.2 sockets, this board suits compact gaming and general-purpose AM5 builds. Four SATA ports, eight-channel Realtek ALC1220 audio, and USB-C 10 Gbps on the rear panel round out the connectivity. HDMI and DisplayPort outputs work with CPUs that have integrated graphics. A BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock. On the next day I had a positive from them and in about a week the card was installed on my pc ! On top of that they work with Humm so I could split the payments.
