Product Overview

The ASRock B850M Pro RS AM5 is a Micro-ATX motherboard built on the AMD B850 chipset for Socket AM5 processors. It has four DDR5 slots supporting up to 256 GB at speeds of up to DDR5-8000+ (OC), a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for the graphics card and three M.2 slots for storage. Networking comes from a Dragon RTL8125BG 2.5 Gigabit LAN controller.

With support for Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors, including X3D models, the B850M Pro RS suits compact gaming builds that still need plenty of storage and memory capacity. Four SATA3 ports sit alongside the three M.2 slots, and the rear panel offers a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, HDMI and DisplayPort. A BIOS update may be required for the newest processors.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock. On the next day I had a positive from them and in about a week the card was installed on my pc ! On top of that they work with Humm so I could split the payments.
