Product Overview

The Alphacool Core GeForce RTX 5080 ROG Astral is a full-cover GPU water block made specifically for the Asus ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 OC Edition. It is part of Alphacool’s Core series and comes with a matching backplate. The cooler combines aluminium, acrylic, chrome-plated copper and brass, with an acrylic top that spreads the addressable RGB lighting evenly across the whole block.

This block suits custom water-cooling loops built around the Asus ROG Astral RTX 5080 OC Edition and nothing else, so check your card model before ordering. It offers four G 1/4″ fitting ports and connects to a 3-pin ARGB header, with an adapter included. The box also contains thermal pads, thermal paste, a spatula, a screwdriver, a mounting tool, two G 1/4″ stop plugs and the screws needed for installation.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. The computer came very well packed however, the cooler fan was loose inside the case. I managed to fix watching some youtube videos, not a big deal. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock.
