Product Overview

The Intel Core i5-14400F is a 10-core, 16-thread desktop processor for the LGA1700 socket, based on the Raptor Lake-S architecture. It combines 6 Performance cores with 4 Efficiency cores, boosts up to 4.7 GHz and carries 20 MB of L3 cache. It has a 65 W base TDP and an unlocked multiplier. It has no integrated graphics, so a dedicated graphics card is required.

This is a good fit for gaming and everyday builds on an Intel 600 or 700 series motherboard, paired with a discrete GPU. It supports PCIe 5.0 and 4.0 as well as DDR5 and DDR4 memory, depending on the board you choose. This is the tray version, supplied without a cooler, so you will need to add a compatible CPU cooler, which the 65 W TDP keeps relatively modest. Maximum turbo power is rated at 148 W.
