The Intel Core i5-12600KF is an unlocked Alder Lake desktop processor for the LGA1700 socket. It uses a hybrid layout of 6 Performance cores with 12 threads and 4 Efficiency cores with 4 threads, giving 10 cores and 16 threads in total. The Performance cores run from a 3.7 GHz base clock up to a 4.9 GHz boost clock, backed by 20 MB of L3 cache.

This KF model has no integrated graphics, so it needs a dedicated graphics card, which suits gaming builds that already include one. The CPU supports PCIe 5.0 and 4.0 as well as DDR5 and DDR4 memory, and works with 700 and 600 series chipset motherboards. Its TDP is 125 W with a maximum of 150 W. No cooler is included in the box, so you will need to buy one separately.
