The ASUS Pro WS TRX50-SAGE WIFI motherboard is an SSI-CEB workstation board built on the AMD TRX50 chipset for Socket sTR5 processors, covering Ryzen Threadripper 7000 and Threadripper PRO 7000 WX-series CPUs. It offers four DDR5 slots with ECC and registered memory support for up to 1 TB, and five PCIe x16 slots including three PCIe 5.0 x16 slots for multi-GPU setups.

Connectivity is aimed at demanding workstation builds: 10 Gb and 2.5 Gb Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4, three M.2 slots (two PCIe 5.0, one PCIe 4.0), four SATA ports and a SlimSAS connector. Onboard 8-pin and 6-pin PCIe power connectors help with stable power for multiple graphics cards. A BIOS update may be required to support the latest processors.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock. On the next day I had a positive from them and in about a week the card was installed on my pc ! On top of that they work with Humm so I could split the payments.
