The AMD Ryzen 9 9900X is a 12-core, 24-thread desktop processor for the AM5 socket, built on the Zen 5 architecture (Granite Ridge) on a 4 nm process. It runs at a 4.4 GHz base clock and boosts to a maximum of 5.6 GHz, backed by 64 MB of L3 cache and 12 MB of L2 cache. The multiplier is unlocked, so it can be overclocked.

With a 120 W TDP, dual-channel memory support with ECC, PCIe 5.0 and AMD EXPO memory profiles, the Ryzen 9 9900X suits high-end gaming PCs and demanding multi-threaded workloads on an AM5 motherboard. The integrated AMD Radeon Graphics (up to 2200 MHz) lets you get a system running without a graphics card. Note that this boxed version ships without a cooler, so you will need to buy a compatible one separately.
