Product Overview

The AMD Ryzen 9 9950X is a 16-core, 32-thread desktop processor for the AM5 socket, built on the Zen 5 architecture (Granite Ridge). It runs at a 4.4 GHz base clock and boosts up to 5.7 GHz, backed by 64 MB of L3 cache and 16 MB of L2 cache. The multiplier is unlocked, and AMD Precision Boost Overdrive is supported for manual tuning.

This is a tray version: it ships without retail packaging and without a cooler, so you will need to supply your own CPU cooler. It suits high-end gaming and multi-threaded builds on AM5 motherboards with PCIe 5.0 support. The 170 W TDP calls for a capable cooler, and the integrated AMD Radeon Graphics (up to 2200 MHz) lets you run a display without a dedicated graphics card. Dual-channel memory with ECC support and AMD EXPO profiles are also supported.
