The AMD Ryzen 9 9950X is a 16-core, 32-thread desktop processor for the AM5 socket, built on the Zen 5 microarchitecture (Granite Ridge) and manufactured on a 4 nm process. It runs at a 4.4 GHz base clock and boosts up to 5.7 GHz, backed by 64 MB of L3 cache and 16 MB of L2 cache. The multiplier is unlocked for overclocking.

With 16 cores and 32 threads, the Ryzen 9 9950X suits high-end gaming builds, streaming and content creation PCs that need strong multi-threaded performance. It supports PCIe 5.0, dual-channel memory with AMD EXPO profiles and ECC, and includes integrated AMD Radeon Graphics. The TDP is 170 W. This is the boxed version and ships without a cooler, so you will need to buy a compatible AM5 cooler separately.
