The AMD Ryzen 5 9600X 6-core processor is a Socket AM5 desktop CPU built on the Zen 5 microarchitecture (Granite Ridge) with 12 threads and a 4 nm manufacturing process. It runs at a 3.9 GHz base clock and boosts up to 5.4 GHz, and it carries 32 MB of L3 cache alongside 6 MB of L2 and 384 KB of L1 cache. The multiplier is unlocked for overclocking.

With a 65 W TDP, PCIe 5.0 support and a dual-channel memory controller with ECC support, the 9600X suits a gaming PC or general-purpose build on an AM5 motherboard.
