Product Overview

The Ocypus Iota A40 Dual Fan CPU air cooler is a single-tower cooler rated for CPUs up to 220 W TDP, built around four heatpipes and two 120 mm fans. What sets it apart is the digital display on the cooler with a circular matrix design, and the customisable OCYPUS logo, which lets you tailor the look of the cooler to your build. A second 9-blade fan at the rear improves airflow through the tower.

The two PWM fans run from 500 to 2,000 RPM with fluid dynamic bearings, anti-vibration pads and a rated noise level of 29 dB, so it suits quiet gaming PCs as well as professional systems under heavy processor load. Airflow reaches 77 CFM with static pressure up to 4.65 mmH2O. A sturdy metal mounting bracket makes installation straightforward and covers a range of current Intel and AMD platforms. The cooler measures 125 x 156.7 x 97.6 mm and weighs 820 g.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock.
