Product Overview

The ARCTIC Freezer 4U-Altra CPU cooler is a single-tower air cooler built for server and workstation processors, designed specifically for Ampere Altra and Altra Max (LGA4926). It uses eight 6 mm direct-touch heat pipes and 57 aluminium fins, with two 120 mm push-pull fans, and is rated to dissipate up to 350 W of CPU heat while drawing only 2.88 W.

At 145 mm tall, it is made for classic 4U server racks and most 4U consumer cases. It provides 53 mm of memory clearance, so RAM with moderate heatsinks fits. Mounting is screw-fixed using a platform-specific kit, and the PWM fans run from 400 to 2,300 RPM on dual ball bearings. MX-7 thermal paste is included, and ARCTIC covers the cooler with a 6-year manufacturer warranty.
