The Gigabyte B650E Eagle WiFi 6E is an ATX motherboard for AMD Socket AM5, built on the B650 chipset. It combines a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot with two further PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, four DDR5 DIMM slots supporting up to 256 GB, and onboard Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.3. Wired networking is handled by a Realtek 2.5GbE LAN controller.

This board suits a Ryzen 7000, 8000 or 9000 series build where fast storage and built-in wireless matter more than a long list of extras. Memory is dual-channel with support listed up to DDR5-8200 (overclocked), and storage options include three M.2 slots plus four SATA III ports with RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10. Rear I/O includes HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and a USB-C port. A BIOS update may be needed to support the newest processors.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock.
