Product Overview

The Kingston DC600ME 7.68 TB Enterprise SATA SSD is a fourth-generation data centre drive built on 3D TLC NAND and aimed at mixed-use server workloads. It uses a 2.5-inch SATA 6 Gb/s interface with sequential speeds of up to 560 MB/s read and 530 MB/s write, and rated random performance of 94,000 read and 34,000 write IOPS. Its 14,016 TBW endurance rating is a key reason to choose it over consumer drives.

Hardware-based power loss protection uses on-board capacitors to guard data against unexpected power failures and helps the drive reinitialise at the next power-up. The DC600ME also adds AES 256-bit hardware encryption with TCG Opal 2.0 support, plus hot-plug and namespace management for up to 64 namespaces. It is designed for rackmount servers, RAID applications and systems where low latency and consistent I/O matter, with a 2,000,000-hour MTBF.
