Product Overview

The EKL Alpenföhn Matterhorn 2 Black is a single-tower CPU air cooler rated for processors up to 200 W TDP. It uses four heatpipes with direct-touch contact, an aluminium and copper heatsink, and a 120 mm PWM fan running between 500 and 1,800 RPM at up to 32.5 dB. The black coating is also said to help with heat dissipation.

With a compact single-tower design that allows all RAM slots to be populated, it suits mainstream and mid-range builds where memory compatibility matters. It covers a wide range of sockets, from Intel LGA 1150 up to LGA 1700 and 1954, plus AM4 and AM5 on the AMD side. The fan uses a hydraulic bearing and a 4-pin PWM connector, and the whole cooler is 158 mm tall and weighs 550 g.
