The Team Group VULCAN Z 256 GB SATA SSD is a 2.5-inch solid state drive built on 3D TLC NAND, rated for sequential speeds of up to 520 MB/s read and 450 MB/s write over a single SATA 6 Gb/s port. It is rated for 80 TBW and an MTBF of 1,000,000 hours, and it supports TRIM, SLC caching, global wear leveling, LDPC ECC and S.M.A.R.T. monitoring.

At just 7 mm high and 45 g, the drive fits standard 2.5-inch bays in desktops as well as slimmer laptops and ultrabooks, making it a simple way to replace an old hard drive or add fast storage to a gaming PC. The manufacturer says game loading and booting take only a few seconds. It uses a standard 15-pin SATA power connector and comes in a black and grey finish.
