Random performance reaches up to 1 million read and 1.4 million write IOPS, helped by SanDisk nCache technology, which is aimed at cutting delays in games and applications.

Its compact M.2 2280 form factor and low power draw of 3.7 W in operation make it a good fit for laptops and handheld gaming consoles as well as desktop builds. With TLC NAND, a 600 TBW endurance rating and 1,750,000 hours MTBF, it suits gaming libraries, media and creative projects. The Optimus GX 7100 range goes up to 4 TB.
