The Samsung 870 EVO 250 GB SATA SSD is a 2.5-inch internal drive that reaches the SATA interface limit, with sequential speeds of up to 560 MB/s read and 530 MB/s write. It uses Samsung’s V-NAND with TLC chips, the Samsung MKX controller and a 512 MB cache, and is rated for 150 TBW. Intelligent TurboWrite uses a dynamic buffer of 3 to 12 GB to keep write speeds high.

This drive suits anyone upgrading a desktop PC or laptop that has a standard 2.5-inch SATA bay, from everyday users to content creators. It is NAS-capable and tested for compatibility with chipsets, motherboards, NAS systems and video recording devices.
