Product Overview

The Kingston FURY Renegade 1 TB NVMe SSD is an M.2 2280 drive built on the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface, with an integrated aluminium heatsink. It uses a Phison E18 controller, external DDR cache and 3D TLC NAND, with sequential speeds of up to 7,300 MB/s read and 6,000 MB/s write on this 1 TB model, and up to 1,000,000 IOPS.

With its heatsink, the drive is aimed at gamers and PC builders who want fast game and application load times, and Kingston lists it as PS5 ready. Endurance is rated at 1 PB, with a quoted MTBF of 1,800,000 hours. Idle power draw is just 0.05 W. Note that the 10.5 mm height including the heatsink means you should check clearance under any motherboard M.2 shield before fitting.
