The Kingston FURY Renegade G5 4 TB SSD is a PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe drive in the M.2 2280 format, rated at up to 14,800 MB/s sequential read and 14,000 MB/s sequential write. Random performance reaches 2,200,000 IOPS for both reads and writes. It uses a Silicon Motion SM2508 controller built on 6nm lithography, 3D TLC NAND and a low-power DDR4 DRAM cache.

This drive is aimed at gamers, hardware enthusiasts and high-power users who want Gen 5 speeds for fast game and app loading, video editing and data-heavy workflows. A 12-layer PCB is used for signal quality and data integrity. The 4 TB capacity is backed by a 4,000 TBW endurance rating and a 2,000,000-hour MTBF. It fits standard M.2 slots and is backwards compatible with PCIe Gen3 and Gen4 systems.
