The Kingston DC2000B 960 GB NVMe SSD is an enterprise M.2 2280 drive using a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface and 112-layer 3D TLC NAND. It reads at up to 7,000 MB/s and writes at up to 1,300 MB/s, with 540,000 random read IOPS and 47,000 random write IOPS. What sets it apart from consumer M.2 drives is hardware-based power loss protection and a rated endurance of 700 TBW (0.4 DWPD).

The DC2000B is designed as an internal boot drive for high-volume rack-mount servers, freeing up front-loading drive bays, and for purpose-built systems that need a fast M.2 SSD with on-board power loss protection. It also suits high-speed application caching. An integrated aluminium heatsink broadens thermal compatibility, and the drive is rated for 0 to 70 °C operation, 2,000,000 hours MTBF and comes with a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
