Product Overview

The ADATA MARS 970 PLUS 2 TB is a PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe SSD in the M.2 2280 form factor, rated for sequential reads of up to 11,000 MB/s and writes of up to 10,000 MB/s. That puts it at the top of the speed range for M.2 drives, well ahead of PCIe 4.0 models. It carries a 600 TB endurance rating (TBW) and a 2,000,000-hour MTBF.

ADATA designed the MARS 970 PLUS for laptops and mini PCs, and it also suits desktop builds with a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, where it targets gaming and AI workloads with low latency. It supports the latest Intel and AMD platforms. SLC caching, Advanced LDPC ECC and Pyrite encryption support are included. The drive is very light at 10 g and is supplied without a heatsink, so check the cooling on your board.
