Product Overview

The Samsung Portable SSD T7 2 TB is an external SSD with USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s) and NVMe technology, rated for sequential speeds of up to 1,050 MB/s read and 1,000 MB/s write. Samsung says that is almost double the performance of the Portable SSD T5. It has no moving parts, and the aluminium unibody case is built to survive drops from up to 2 metres.

At 58 g and 85 x 57 x 8 mm, it is small enough for any pocket, which suits carrying games, project files or backups between a PC, laptop and other devices. It works with Windows and macOS, and is also suited to Android devices and smart TVs. Optional AES 256-bit hardware encryption with password unlocking keeps private data protected. Both USB Type-C to C and Type-C to A cables are included.
