Product Overview

The TP-Link Archer T4U V2.0 is a USB 3.0 Wi-Fi adapter that adds dual-band 802.11ac wireless to a desktop PC or laptop. It reaches up to 867 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 400 Mbit/s on 2.4 GHz, and it supports MU-MIMO when used with a compatible MU-MIMO router. Two high gain external antennas are intended to extend range and coverage compared with a typical wireless adapter.

This adapter suits PCs without built-in Wi-Fi, or older systems that only have slower wireless. It connects over USB 3.0, which is backwards compatible with USB 2.0, and a USB extension cable is included so you can position the adapter for a better signal. It supports Windows 7 to Windows 11, several Mac OS X versions and Linux, and includes a WPS button for quick secure connections. Setup uses the supplied software CD and quick installation guide.
