Product Overview

The Digitus DN-10136 4-Port 2.5G Ethernet card is a PCIe x4 network adapter with four RJ-45 ports, each supporting 100 Mbit/s, 1 Gbit/s and 2.5 Gbit/s. It is built around the RTL8125B and ASM1806 chipset and combines an IEEE 802.3-compliant MAC with a multi-speed Ethernet transceiver. Four 2.5G ports on a single card set it apart from the usual single-port 2.5G adapters.

The card suits desktops, workstations and servers that need several fast network links, for example for VLAN setups, virtual machines or multi-network builds. It supports VLAN tagging, double VLAN, jumbo frames up to 16K bytes, Virtual Machine Queue and Quad-Core Receive-Side Scaling. A low-profile bracket is included for slimmer cases, and Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11 are supported. Over CAT5e UTP cabling it handles the higher speeds.
