The Audio-Technica ATH-A2000Z closed-back headphones are a wired Hi-Fi over-ear design built around 53 mm drivers that are assembled by hand in Japan. They cover a frequency range of 5 Hz to 45 kHz, with a 44 Ω nominal impedance, 101 dB sensitivity and 2000 mW maximum input power, and are aimed at clear, natural playback of high-resolution audio.

The Double Air Damping Structure (D.A.D.S.) manages internal airflow to extend the frequency response and deliver deep bass, while the ergonomic ear pads provide good noise isolation. A redesigned self-adjusting wing support sits closer to the head for a stable fit during long sessions. The 3 m four-conductor cable is fed to both earcups, with independent grounds for the left and right channels, and ends in a gold-plated 3.5 mm connector. Suited to Hi-Fi listening at home. Weight is 294 g.
