Product Overview

The Asus ROG Kithara is a wired open-back gaming headset built around 100 mm planar magnetic drivers developed with HIFIMAN. Rather than the dynamic drivers found in most gaming headsets, it covers a frequency range of 8 Hz to 55 kHz at 16 Ω impedance. The open-back design gives a wider soundstage for positional audio, and a detachable full-band MEMS boom microphone handles in-game communication.

It suits gamers and audio enthusiasts who want hi-fi style sound at the PC, on consoles or on a phone. The 3-in-1 cable ends in 3.5 mm, 6.3 mm and 4.4 mm balanced plugs, and a USB-C to dual 3.5 mm adapter is included. Two pairs of swappable ear cushions (velour and leatherette with mesh fabric) let you adjust comfort and sound. At 420 g it has an adjustable headband, and it works with PC, Mac, PlayStation 4/5, Nintendo Switch and iPad.
