Product Overview

The Noctua NF-A8 ULN 80 mm case fan is built for very quiet running, with a rated noise level of just 10.4 dB at its top speed of 1,400 RPM. It moves up to 34.8 m³/h (20.5 cfm) of air at up to 1.05 mm H2O static pressure, while drawing only 0.6 W from a 12 V 3-pin connection.

Noctua’s AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frame and Flow Acceleration Channels give it improved quiet-cooling performance over the older NF-R8, according to the manufacturer. Its 1,400/1,100 rpm speed options suit small-form-factor builds, HTPCs and anyone who is sensitive to fan noise. It uses an SSO2 bearing and Smooth Commutation Drive 2, is screw-mounted, and measures 80 x 80 x 25 mm.
