Product Overview

The Noctua NF-A8 PWM 80 mm case fan is a low-noise 80 x 80 x 25 mm fan that runs from 450 to 2,200 RPM under automatic PWM control. Noctua’s AAO frame, Flow Acceleration Channels and Stepped Inlet Design are aimed at better quiet cooling than the NF-R8. Noise is rated at 13.8 to 17.7 dB, airflow at up to 55.5 m³/h and static pressure at up to 2.37 mm H2O.

A good fit for small cases, 80 mm fan mounts and builds where low noise matters. The NE-FD1 IC with SCD handles fully automatic speed control via the 4-pin PWM connector, and the included Low-Noise Adapter caps the maximum speed at 1,750 RPM for even quieter running. The SSO2 bearing, integrated anti-vibration pads and screw mounting keep it stable and quiet. Power draw is only 0.96 W at 12 V, and it weighs 239 g.
