Product Overview

The Noctua NF-A8 5V PWM is an 80 mm case fan built specifically for 5V operation with 4-pin PWM speed control, a special 5V version of Noctua’s NF-A8 premium fan. It runs from 450 to 2,200 RPM, moves up to 55.5 m³/h of air with static pressure up to 2.37 mm H2O, and is rated at 17.7 dB, while drawing just 0.75 W.

Because it is a 5V fan, it must not be connected to ordinary 12V fan headers on a motherboard, as this will damage it. It suits builds and projects with a 5V power source, and the kit includes a USB power adapter cable, a 30 cm extension cable, an OmniJoin adapter set, NA-AV1 anti-vibration mounts and fan screws. The AAO frame with integrated silicone anti-vibration pads and the SSO2 bearing help keep operation smooth and quiet.
