Product Overview

The Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM 120 mm slim fan is a quiet 120 x 15 mm fan built around Flow Acceleration Channels and Noctua’s AAO frame system. At just 15 mm deep it is far thinner than a standard 25 mm fan, yet it still moves 70.8 to 94.2 m³/h (41.7 to 55.4 cfm) at 16.8 to 23.9 dB, with a speed range of 450 to 1,850 RPM.

Its slim profile suits builds with limited space, such as low-profile CPU coolers and HTPC cases. The 4-pin PWM version uses Noctua’s NE-FD1 IC for fully automatic speed control and comes with a Low-Noise Adapter that cuts the maximum PWM speed from 1,850 to 1,400 RPM. It uses a SSO2 bearing, draws 1.56 W from 5 to 12 V and is screw-mounted.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock.
