Product Overview

The GIGABYTE X870E EAGLE WIFI7 is an ATX motherboard for Socket AM5 built on the AMD X870E chipset. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors, and its four DIMM slots take up to 256 GB of DDR5 with speeds up to 8200 MT/s (OC). Storage options are generous: four M.2 slots, one of which runs at PCIe 5.0, plus four SATA ports.

Connectivity is a strong point for the money. The board has Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4, a Realtek 5GbE LAN port and two USB4 ports on the rear I/O, alongside a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 (20 Gbit/s) header for a front-panel Type-C port.
