Product Overview

The Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE X3D is an ATX motherboard for Socket AM5 built on the AMD B850 chipset. What sets it apart is the combination of a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, four M.2 slots (the first with PCIe 5.0), Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4 and a Realtek 5GbE LAN port. It has four DDR5 slots supporting up to 256 GB, with memory speeds up to 8200 MT/s (O.C.).

This board suits gaming and general-purpose PC builds around Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors, including the X3D models, which the X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 feature is designed to support. Storage options include four SATA ports and RAID 0, 1 and 10, while the rear panel offers two USB-C and two USB-A 10 Gbit/s ports. Some newer CPUs may need a BIOS update before they will run.
