Product Overview

The ASUS PRIME B550M-A WIFI II is a micro ATX motherboard for Socket AM4 built on the AMD B550 chipset. It combines Wi-Fi 6 (2×2) and Bluetooth 5.2 with two M.2 slots (the first running at PCIe 4.0 and taking up to 22110 drives), four SATA III ports and a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, in a compact board that supports up to 128 GB of DDR4.

It suits compact and mid-sized AM4 builds based on AMD Ryzen 3000 and 5000 Series processors. Four DDR4 slots run in dual channel with speeds up to DDR4-4866 (overclocked), and the rear panel offers HDMI, DVI-D and VGA outputs for CPUs with integrated graphics, plus 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 and 4 x USB 3.2 Gen 1. A VRM heatsink with thermal pad, four 4-pin PWM fan headers and Aura Sync RGB headers are included. A BIOS update may be needed for the newest processors.
