The HYTE Y70 Touch Display Upgrade is a 14.9-inch (37.9 cm) IPS touchscreen kit made for the HYTE Y70 case, finished in Taro Milk purple. It has a 2560 x 682 resolution, 500 cd/m² brightness and a capacitive 10-point multitouch panel, so the display sits inside the case rather than on your desk.

The kit is aimed at owners of a HYTE Y70 who want a built-in screen for system information, themes and widgets, all managed through HYTE Nexus software. It connects via DisplayPort, a USB 2.0 header and SATA power, and runs at 60 Hz with a 178 PPI pixel density and an 80-degree viewing angle. HYTE describes it as easy to install.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. The computer came very well packed however, the cooler fan was loose inside the case. I managed to fix watching some youtube videos, not a big deal. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock.
