The Asus Eye Care VU249CFE-G is a 23.8 inch (60.5 cm) Full HD monitor with an IPS panel, a 100 Hz refresh rate and Adaptive-Sync. The matt, flat 1920 x 1080 screen has 178° viewing angles, 250 cd/m² typical brightness, a 1300:1 contrast ratio and a 1 ms MPRT response time. A USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and 15 W Power Delivery sits alongside a single HDMI 1.4 input.

This monitor suits gaming PCs and everyday desktop setups where a compact 24 inch screen is enough. Flicker-free and Low Blue Light technologies, plus Eye Care+ and a rest reminder, are aimed at longer sessions. The stand tilts from 5° forward to 20° back and raises the screen by up to 2.5 cm, and the monitor is VESA 75 x 75 mm compatible. It comes in a green/grey finish with built-in cable management and a Kensington lock slot.

Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock. On the next day I had a positive from them and in about a week the card was installed on my pc ! On top of that they work with Humm so I could split the payments.
