Product Overview

The Intel Core i9-12900KF is a 12th generation Alder Lake desktop processor for the LGA 1700 socket, combining 8 Performance cores and 8 Efficiency cores for 16 cores and 24 threads in total. The Performance cores run at a 3.2 GHz base clock and boost up to 5.1 GHz, backed by 30 MB of Level 3 cache, and the multiplier is unlocked.

This is a KF model, so there is no integrated graphics and a separate graphics card is required. It has a 125 W base TDP (241 W maximum) and no cooler is supplied, so you will need your own cooler. It supports PCIe 5.0 and, according to the manufacturer, works with DDR5 and DDR4 memory depending on the motherboard, and is compatible with 700 and 600 series chipset boards. Supplied as a tray version without retail packaging, it suits high-performance gaming and demanding multi-threaded builds.
