Product Overview
The Inter-Tech 4U-40255 is a 4U rack-mount server case in black steel (1.0-1.2 mm) with room for E-ATX motherboards up to 305 mm x 330 mm. It takes full-size ATX power supplies, offers seven full-size expansion slots, and fits graphics or expansion cards up to 330 mm long and CPU coolers up to 150 mm tall.
Inter-Tech positions this chassis as an inexpensive base for a server system. Storage is flexible: up to 11x 3.5″ or 4x 2.5″ drives internally, and removing the mounting frames on both sides frees up to six extra 5.25″ bays (3x 5.25″ external as standard). Two 120 mm front fans and two 80 mm rear fans are fitted, and the front panel has 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1. A frame for redundant power supplies is included.
