Product Overview
The Inter-Tech 2U-2098-SL 2U rack case is a 19″ rack server chassis in black, built from 1.0-1.2 mm steel. It takes ATX motherboards and an ATX power supply, and alternatively a 2U server power supply. Seven low-profile expansion slots, removable drive cages and lockable front doors set it apart from basic rack cases of the same height.
This case suits a low-cost rack-mounted server or storage build where drive access matters. The drive cages come out for easier installation, and the lockable front doors protect the external drives from unauthorised access. Three 80 mm fans are fitted inside, there is room for one more 80 mm fan, and a dust filter helps keep the airflow clean. The front panel has two USB 2.0 ports, a power switch, a reset button and power and drive activity LEDs.
