Product Overview

The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G is a 5G smartphone with a 6.7-inch (17 cm) Full HD+ AMOLED display running at 90 Hz, powered by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 1330 with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It runs Android 15, carries a 5000 mAh battery rated for 1,200 charge cycles and has IP54 protection against dust and splashes. The rear camera is a triple setup led by a 50 MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation.

With a 90 Hz screen, a 50 MP OIS main camera and a 13 MP front camera, the Galaxy A17 5G suits everyday use such as messaging, video streaming and photography. Storage can be extended with a microSD card up to 2 TB, but note that the hybrid slot is shared with the second SIM, so using Dual SIM means no microSD card. It supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, multi-system GPS and 25 W USB-C charging. The charger is not included in the box.

All the process of building the config designed for my needs was handled very smoothly and rapidly by Jola. The desktop came with one day of delay due to DHL issues, not their fault. The computer came very well packed however, the cooler fan was loose inside the case. I managed to fix watching some youtube videos, not a big deal. Irish online stores in general have a common practice of selling something they don't have - claiming they do - and then ordering from their source, leading to long shipping times and frustated customers. That was not the case here! I've asked them to let me know when they had the graphics card I wanted back in stock as it was out of stock. On the next day I had a positive from them and in about a week the card was installed on my pc ! On top of that they work with Humm so I could split the payments.
