The Intel Core i5-12600K is an unlocked Alder Lake desktop processor for the LGA1700 socket, built on a hybrid layout of 6 Performance cores (12 threads) and 4 Efficiency cores (4 threads). It boosts to 4.9 GHz from a 3.7 GHz base clock and carries 20 MB of L3 cache, with Intel UHD Graphics 770 included for systems without a dedicated graphics card.

The Performance cores handle demanding workloads such as gaming, while the Efficiency cores take over under light load. The chip supports PCIe 5.0 and 4.0 as well as DDR5 and DDR4 memory, and is compatible with 700-series and 600-series motherboards. Note that this is the boxed version and no cooler is included in the box, so you will need to add your own CPU cooler for a 125 W (150 W max) processor.
