The MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 is an 850W ATX power supply unit with an output compliant with PCIe 5.0 and the Intel Power Supply Design Guide for ATX 3.0. It is 80 PLUS Gold certified, uses fully modular flat cables and delivers 846W on a single +12V rail (70.5A). It can handle up to 2x total power excursion and 3x GPU power excursion for short periods.

This PSU suits gaming PCs built around a high-performance graphics card and CPU, particularly where a PCIe 5.0 12+4 pin (12VHPWR) connector is needed. It also provides four 6+2 pin PCIe connectors, eight SATA and four Molex connectors. The flat cables simplify cable management and leave more room for airflow, and at 150 x 86 x 140 mm it is more compact than typical ATX units.
