Product Overview
The Kingston DC600M 960 GB is a fourth-generation data centre SATA SSD in the 2.5″ form factor, built on 3D TLC NAND for mixed-use server workloads. It delivers up to 560 MB/s read and 530 MB/s write, with 94,000 random read and 65,000 random write IOPS. Hardware-based power loss protection using hold-up capacitors sets it apart from consumer SATA drives.
This drive is aimed at rackmount servers, server RAID setups and workstations rather than everyday desktop use. Kingston designed it for low latency and consistent IOPS, with a 1,752 TBW endurance rating and a 2,000,000-hour MTBF. It supports hot-plug and namespace management for up to 64 namespaces. The DC600M model does not include hardware encryption; that is a feature of the separate DC600ME variant.
